ABRAXAS Completes Work On Debut Album

ABRAXAS, the new death metal band featuring Makoto Mizoguchi (PYREXIA, INTERNAL SUFFERING, HATE ETERNAL) on guitar and bass, Mike Hrubovcak (MONSTROSITY, VILE, DIVINE RAPTURE, I.C.E., AZURE EMOTE) on vocals and Lance Wright (VILE, QUINTA ESSENTIA, TEMPLE OF BLOOD) on drums, has completed work on its debut album, "Damnation", due later in the year.

Session drums on the album were performed by Justin Dipinto (MALEVOLENT CREATION, PYREXIA, MORTAL DECAY, DIVINE RAPTURE).

ABRAXAS released its debut four-song EP, "Wretched Existence", on December 15, 2009 via Relapse Records. The effort was also made available as a T-shirt bundle, featuring the amazing artwork of Drew Elliott (NECROPHAGIA, GOREAPHOBIA, AMORPHIS).
