ABORYM Announce New Album Title, Track Listing

September 28, 2005

Italian black metallers ABORYM, now featuring former EMPEROR and current SCUM drummer Bård "Faust" Eithun, have set "Generator" as the title of their fourth album, tentatively due before the end of the year via Season of Mist. According to a press release, "'Generator' holds the spirit of dark and unparalleled black metal bound together with a crushing death metal approach — all stitched up with the Italians' fantastic ability to naturally incorporate electronic elements and layers.

"Generator" features Eithun on drums, Prime Evil (MYSTICUM) on vocals, Fabban Malfeitor on bass, synth and backing vocals and Nysrokinfernalien on guitar and guitar synths.

"Generator" track listing:

01. Armageddon
02. Disgust and Rage (Sic transit Gloria Mundi)
03. A Dog-Eat-Dog World
04. Ruinrama Kolossal S.P.Q.R.
05. Generator
06. Suffer Catalyst
07. Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea
08. Man Bites God
09. I Reject!

Guest musicians on the album include Cultoculus (ex-MAYHEM, PERDITION HEARSE),who did some backing vocals and spoken passages during a Rome session. And Richard K. from the Swedish band TWZ, who provided some electronic input. In addition, Attila Csihar (MAYHEM) performs his "farewell" song with ABORYM in the shape of "Man Bites God".
