ABORTED To Team Up With CRYPTOPSY, VESANIA For Scandinavian Tour

According to a posting on ABORTED's official web site, the Belgian death metallers will be teaming up with CRYPTOPSY and VESANIA for the Scandinavian leg of the The Domination Tour 2006 beginning in late August. Another full European tour is tentatively planned for September/October. More information will be made available soon.

As previously reported, ABORTED will be entering Antfarm studios in Denmark with producer Tue Madsen in October to begin recording their new album, tentatively due in early 2007. The band made their live debut with their new lineup on Jan. 14 in La Louviere, Belgium. The group's new formation includes Seb Purulator (ex-GARWALL, BALROG, GENITAL GRINDER) on guitar and Olivia Scemama (ex-NO RETURN, BALROG) on bass following the departures of Thijs "Tace" de Cloedt and bassist Frederic "Free" Vanmassenhove, respectively.

ABORTED's most recent album, "The Archaic Abattoir", was released in March 2005 via Listenable Records. The CD was mixed at Antfarm Studios in Denmark with producer Tue Madsen (THE HAUNTED, PANZERCHRIST, MNEMIC, EKTOMORF, DESTINY). Guest vocal appearances on the album include Bo Summer (ILLDISPOSED),Michael Bogballe (MNEMIC) and Jacob Bredahl (HATESPHERE).
