A PERFECT CIRCLE To Perform On 'Last Call With Carson Daly'

November 9, 2010

According to Interbridge.com's "The Late Night TV Page", A PERFECT CIRCLE will perform on the Friday, November 12 episode of NBC-TV's "Last Call With Carson Daly" (which will actually air the morning of Saturday, November 13 at 1:35 a.m. EST). In addition, A PERFECT CIRCLE/TOOL/PUSCIFER frontman Maynard James Keenan will be interviewed on the show.

A PERFECT CIRCLE performed on the October 27 edition of ABC-TV's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!". The band played the song "Weak And Powerless" as well as a cover version of JOHN LENNON's "Imagine". Watch video footage of the "Weak And Powerless" performance below.

A PERFECT CIRCLE has just kicked off a tour of five cities, with each city save one getting a three-night stand. The band is playing each of its three studio albums — "Mer De Noms", "Thirteenth Step" and "eMOTIVe" — on a different night.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Keenan said about the decision to play small venues, "There's no way we're going to sell out arenas. We haven't been around for six years . . . These shows are going to be very small intimate theater gigs, basically just the five of us trying to connect with each other."

The cities the band will hit on this run are Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Phoenix and Las Vegas. The group will play just two nights in Vegas, dropping the "eMOTIVe" performance.

The 2010 lineup of A PERFECT CIRCLE includes Keenan, Howerdel, drummer Josh Freese, former SMASHING PUMPKINS guitarist James Iha and bassist Matt McJunkins.

Keenan said that former members Paz Lenchantin, Jeordie White and Troy Van Leeuwen have been invited to stop by the shows and play on a couple of songs.

A PERFECT CIRCLE currently does not have a record deal.
