ZONARIA Parts Ways With Bassist, Announces Replacement

Swedish death metal quartet ZONARIA has parted ways with bassist Jerry Ekman and has replaced him with Markus Åkebo.

Commented Markus: "I'm really glad to be a part of this up-and-coming band that's soon going to take over the world. We're already working hard on plans to visit all of Europe during this fall. See you all on the road soon."

ZONARIA has posted the artwork for its upcoming debut album, "Infamy and the Breed", at this location. The artwork was designed by Seth, who has previously worked with ROTTING CHRIST, VADER and DECAPITATED, among others.

ZONARIA will film a video for the song "The Armageddon Anthem" on July 28 with the Standard Film team. The clip will be shot in the largest crane factory in Scandinavia, according to guitarist Emil Nyström.

"Infamy and the Breed" will be released on September 3 (U.K.),September 4 (North America),and September 7 (rest of Europe) through Pivotal Rockordings. The CD was recorded by Per Nilsson (SCAR SYMMETRY) and mixed and mastered by Jonas Kjellgren (SCAR SYMMETRY) at Black Lounge Studios in Gälve, Sweden.
