ZONARIA Forced To Cancel London Concert

February 13, 2011

Swedish death/black metal band ZONARIA was forced to cancel its concert in London, England this evening due to transportation issues.

Commented guitarist Caleb Bingham: "Due to bus problems upon arrival in Scotland very early this morning, and the inability to get a repair truck out before the next afternoon, we have been forced to forgo our London gig at the Academy tonight. We are deeply sorry to all who who came out to see us and we will definitely be back to
London as soon as we can."

A video message from ZONARIA regarding the London cancelation can be viewed below.

ZONARIA last year completed work on its third album at Abyss studio in Sweden with producer Jonas Kjellgren (SCAR SYMMETRY, SONIC SYNDICATE, HYPOCRISY, CENTINEX, CARNAL FORGE). A release date for the effort has not yet been announced

ZONARIA vocalist Simon Berglund previously stated about the upcoming CD: "I'm stoked about going into the studio with Jonas. He did an amazing job on [ZONARIA's 2007 release] 'Infamy And The Breed' and has done some more incredible work with other bands. And not to mention recording in studio Abyss for the first time. Many of our all-time favorites have recorded in that studio and something magic always happens with the albums recorded there."

ZONARIA's second full-length album, "The Cancer Empire", was released in the U.S. in January 2009 via Century Media Records.
