ZAN CLAN Begins Recording New Album

ZAN CLAN, the Swedish group fronted by former SHOTGUN MESSIAH vocalist Zinny Zan, has started recording its new, as-yet-untitled album at Polar and Platform studios in Stockholm with producer Chris Laney (EUROPE, CANDLEMASS, ANIMAL, CRASHDIET, CRUCIFIED BARBARA). Video clips from the recording session can be found at

ZAN CLAN will showcase its brand new lineup January 21 at the "Rest In Sleaze" festival (tribute concert to late CRASHDIET frontman David Hellman) in Stockholm.

Zinny J. Zan - Vocals
Chris Laney - Guitars and Vocals
J. Koleberg - Drums
Grizzly - Bass and Vocals
Rob Love - Guitars and Vocals

Grizzly, an experienced and sought-after session musician, is a longtime friend of the band. Rob is and unknown name in the music business. Only 20 years old, he's a bit younger than the rest of the band. However, Zinny Zan has always been known for only playing with guitar heroes, and this is certainly not about to change now. Laney says: "Rob is one of the best guitarists I have ever heard — and I have heard quite a few... rest assured that he is destined to become a guitar god. So brace yourselves for the rock 'n' roll messiahs!!"
