ZAKK WYLDE 'Song Contest' Launched

July 25, 2006

Broadjam.com and Electro-Voice are currently running the "Zakk Wylde Song Contest" for independent musicians at this location.

Synopsis: He's the right-hand man to the Prince of Darkness, Ozzy. He's one of the most recognizable guitarists on the planet. He's part of two hugely successful bands and also a solo artist. He's appeared in Hollywood movies. He's none other than Zakk Wylde, and he wants to hear your music! If you inspire head banging, moshing, or chaos in general, the "Zakk Wylde Song Contest" is for you. And with Wylde personally judging the top ten finalists from the peer review, this is your once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for exposure! Whether or not you own his signature Gibson guitar, can chicken pick, or listen to BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, any form of metal is welcomed. Let the thrashing begin!

BLACK LABEL SOCIETY's new album, "Shot to Hell", is scheduled for release on September 19 through Roadrunner Records. Check out the song "Black Mass Reverends" at this location.

As previously reported, the cover artwork for "Shot to Hell" has been posted online at this location.

Produced by Zakk and Michael Beinhorn (OZZY, KORN, SOUNDGARDEN),and recorded with longtime pals Craig Nunenmacher (drums) and John "J.D." DeServio (bass),"Shot to Hell" takes the ferocious hard rock of such BLS albums as 2003's "Blessed Hellride" and 2005's "Mafia" to a whole new level of "brewtality."
