YNGWIE MALMSTEEN Singer Offers Update On European Tour, Upcoming CORNERSTONE Album

April 14, 2003

YNGWIE MALMSTEEN singer Doogie White has posted the following update to his official web site, www.doogiewhite.co.uk:

"The cancellation of the remaining German shows really pissed us all off. We were really on a roll and to have something like this happen took the wind out of our sails. However we picked up the gauntlet again for the shows in Denmark. It was good to see some old familiar faces from the old RAINBOW days coming along and saying hello. Thanks."

"We have once again been recording some of the shows for the live album. The set has been quite varied with some jamming and also some songs we have never played before — [RAINBOW's] 'Stargazer' being one, with Yngwie on the drums."

"While in Copenhagen I took the chance to hook up with [CORNERSTONE bandmate] Steen [Mogensen, ROYAL HUNT] and Allen and went to the studio to hear tracks from the new CORNERSTONE album, plus a new song that Steen has written. Joekim and I are going back to Denmark on our day off in Malmo to put some Hammond organ on a couple of the songs. The album is going to be called 'Once Upon Our Yesterdays', which is also a song on the album."

"Right it is two hours till 'rock time' so I must get the shiny trousers polished."
