YNGWIE MALMSTEEN: New U.S. Tour Dates Announced

Legendary Swedish guitarist YNGWIE MALMSTEEN has lined up the following dates in March:

Mar. 03 - Pittsburgh, PA @ Mr. Smalls Fun House/Theatre
Mar. 04 - Chicago, IL @ House Of Blues
Mar. 10 – Clifton Park, NY @ Northern Lights

More dates will be announced soon.

YNGWIE MALMSTEEN is touring in support of his two new projects, "Unleash the Fury" and "Concerto Suite for Electric Guitar and Orchestra" DVD.

"Unleash the Fury", which hit stores July 26, 2005 through Spitfire Records, has been receiving rave reviews from critics and fans alike and has even been hailed as one of his best works to date. Also released this year was Yngwie's long-awaited "Concerto Suite for Electric Guitar and Orchestra" DVD, which was filmed in 2001 with the New Japan Philharmonic, conducted by Taizo Takemoto. Malmsteen has performed his concerto suite live with an orchestra just seven times. An interview with Malmsteen is included as a special bonus feature.
