YNGWIE MALMSTEEN: New Guitar Auction Announced

Legendary Swedish guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen is auctioning a Fender Stratocaster guitar via eBay. According to a posting on the auction page, "Yngwie personally has owned and played this instrument in the studio and in concerts throughout the world and there are many photos in publications around showing him playing this instrument. One of the photos in this listing shows a young Yngwie pointing skywards in front of his Marshall stacks. This photo of Yngwie playing the listed instrument was taken in 1983 during the ALCATRAZZ era. The photograph of Yngwie in the leather jacket was taken of him playing the listed instrument on June 30, 1984 at The Pier in New York City on his 21st birthday."

The starting bid is $16,000.
