January 31, 2006

Chicago's YAKUZA have lined up a record-release hometown show on Mar. 25 at the Beat Kitchen in anticipation of the band's Prosthetic Records debut, "Samsara". The album, already named as one of Decibel magazine's most anticipated albums of 2006, will see a Stateside release on Mar. 21. In the meantime, folks intrigued by YAKUZA's mind-boggling melding of psychedelia, metal, jazz and prog-rock can hear "Samsara"'s lead track, "Cancer of Industry", on the Prosthetic Records web site by clicking here. The band will also be holding a listening party for "Samsara" closer to the album's release date.
