WOLVERINE: 'The Window Purpose' Album To Be Reissued

October 16, 2004

Sweden's WOLVERINE have posted the following message on their web site:

"We are happy to announce that 'The Window Purpose' [2001] will be re-released through Elitist/Earache Records. The album has been re-mastered and the difference is really immense. It was remastered by Eroc who also mastered 'Cold Light of Monday' as well as the re-release of 'Fervent Dream' [1999]. Once again he has done an amazing job. The album will also contain a re-recorded version of 'Again?' off 'Fervent Dream'. We'll see if we can squeeze something else in as well. That matter is being looked into right now.

"There are two main reasons for this release:
1. We really felt that the mastering ruined a lot of the original version. This time around the album sounds as we always intended it to sound.
2. Elitist/Earache Records has a much greater distribution network than DVS Records had which means the album will finally get the exposure we always felt it deserved.

"We'll announce the exact release date as soon as we get it from the label! Stay tuned!"

WOLVERINE's latest album, "Cold Light Of Monday", was released late last year through Elitist/Earache. Download an MP3 of the track "New Best Friends" at this location.
