Between dates on its recent tour with AC/DC, Australian retro-rock combo WOLFMOTHER filmed a video for its new single, "Far Away". The clip, which was shot in Sydney with director Sam Stephens of Hydra (PASSION PIT's "The Reeling", MUSE's "Uprising"), can be viewed below."Far Away" comes off WOLFMOTHER's second album, "Cosmic Egg", which sold 28,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 16 on The Billboard 200 chart. Released on October 27, 2009, the group's first CD since the departure of drummer Myles Heskett and bassist/keyboardist Chris Ross was recorded in Los Angeles with heralded U.K. producer Alan Moulder. WOLFMOTHER recently parted ways with drummer Dave Atkins and replaced him with Will Rockwell-Scott of MOONEY SUZUKI and HAR MAR SUPERSTAR fame. WOLFMOTHER's 2006 debut sold more than 500,000 copies in the U.S. and featured the Grammy-winning single "Woman".
