WITHIN TEMPTATION Signs U.K. Deal With DRAMATICO

July 31, 2013

Dutch female-fronted symphonic metallers WITHIN TEMPTATION have inked a new U.K. deal with Dramatico. The band's sixth album will be released before the end of the year.

Andrew Bowles, MD of Dramatico, enthuses: "I've been a fan of WITHIN TEMPTATION for some time and when the chance came up to discuss a deal, I jumped at it. I'm thrilled to be working with the band and their management on the next exciting stage of their career."?

Equally excited are WITHIN TEMPTATION's Sharon Den Adel and Robert Westerholt, who comment: "We were looking for a partnership with a music-driven and artist-minded company open to a wide range of musical styles. Dramatico and its people exactly fit this profile. We are very much looking forward to working with Andrew and his team in the U.K."

A 20-second teaser for WITHIN TEMPTATION's forthcoming single and video can be seen below.

The band's fifth studio CD, "The Unforgiving", sold around 12,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 50 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD was made available via Sony Music in continental Europe and Roadrunner Records in the U.S., U.K. and Ireland, Japan and Australia.

WITHIN TEMPTATION guitarist Robert Westerholt in 2011 announced that he would step down from touring duties in order to focus on taking care of the three children he has with the band's lead singer, Sharon den Adel. His replacement on stage is Stefan Helleblad, who had been working with the group behind the scenes for a few years.
