WITHIN TEMPTATION Confirmed For United Arab Emirates' DESERT ROCK FESTIVAL

February 20, 2005

Holland's WITHIN TEMPTATION have been confirmed for the Desert Rock Festival 2005, which will be held on March 25 at the Dubai Country Club (Rugby Field) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. A total of seven bands are expected to appear on the bill, which will include performances by THE DARKNESS, MACHINE HEAD, SEPULTURA, Dubai's own NERVECELL (who recently signed a distribution deal with Atolinga Records) and JULIANA DOWN (who opened for THE RASMUS last year).

MACHINE HEAD and SEPULTURA's performances at the Desert Rock Festival will mark the first time an international heavy/thrash metal band has appeared in the Arabian Gulf.

In addition to the band performances, Desert Rock Festival 2005 will feature the Air-Guitar UAE competition, the winner of which will be sent to Finland for the Air-Guitar international finals. Also set to be held at Desert Rock is an extreme sports event featuring biking and skateboarding competitions.
