WICKED SINS Drummer Missing Since Last Monday

According to CitizensVoice.com, Pennsylvania state police are investigating the disappearance of Donald Troy Skiff, the 34-year-old drummer of the Wilkes Barre-based glam/hard rock band WICKED SINS (MySpace page), who has been missing since Monday (April 27).

Skiff was last seen fishing with friends in Shickshinny, Pennsylvania. His Ford truck was found Wednesday night, April 29, burned and abandoned in an area known as the Plymouth Flats.

Friends aren't sure what happened, but learned he was harassed by several intoxicated passers-by around the time he was leaving Shickshinny, according to Skiff's friend, WICKED SINS singer Dyer Knight, of Plymouth.

Knight said police recovered Skiff's wallet and cell phone from the vehicle.

State police and Plymouth Township firefighters on Thursday searched for hours around the area where his vehicle was found, but could not locate him.

Skiff works at Maui Cup in Pittston Township, Knight said. He lives on Martz Manor in Plymouth Borough. Skiff is 6'1" and 185 lbs. He has green eyes and normally wears his long, brown hair in a ponytail, friends said.

Those who know Skiff said there is no reason for him to disappear on his own. His band's album was recently finished after two years of hard work and WICKED SINS was seeking a suitable record label to release the CD.

"He was happy," Knight told WNEP-TV. "We were all excited. When the police first started looking into this, they asked, was he depressed? No way. We had just gotten the best news in the world. We were talking to record labels. We were this close to being on top of the world."
