WEDNESDAY 13 Part Ways With Bassist, Announce Temporary Replacement

March 13, 2006

MURDERDOLLS frontman Wednesday 13 has announced the following tour dates in April:

Apr. 01 - Ft. Worth, TX - Hardknox Shock Fest (Ridglea Theatre)
Apr. 27 - Chicago, IL - The Metro Renee Israel Foundation Benefit
Apr. 29 - Toledo, OH - Club Bijou

Commented Wednesday 13: "Unfortunately, bassist Kid Kid will not be playing at these three shows, or with Wednesday 13 for the near future. This decision has been discussed between Kid Kid and I for several months now and we still remain close friends. I support this decision, as Kid Kid has been given a great opportunity and will be devoting 100% of his time to it. Bassist Argyle Goolsby, from BLITZKID, will be filling in for these shows. A permanent bassist has yet to be announced."

Wednesday 13 recently entered the studio to begin recording the follow-up to last year's "Transylvania 90210: Songs of Death, Dying, and the Dead". Over 30 songs have been written for the album, including "Buried With Children", "My Home Sweet Homicide", "Morgue Than Words", and "Till Death Do Us Party". Wednesday is handling the production duties once again for a tentative late spring worldwide release on a soon-to-be-announced new label.
