WEAPON Completes Recording New Album

May 30, 2012

Canadian blackened death metal blasphemers WEAPON have completed the recording of their long-awaited Relapse debut entitled "Embers And Revelations". The band entered the studio on March 18 to record the CD along with producer Terry Paholek at The Physics Lab in their hometown of Edmonton, Canada. Continuing on the same scathing path as their previous works, the upcoming release, planned for the fall of 2012, is sure to be their most vicious and all-out evil offering to date.

Commented WEAPON guitarist/vocalist Vetis Monarch: "WEAPON loyalists can expect no-holds barred, satanic death metal that the band displayed on its previous work, but further refined and sharpened to ferocious perfection. 'Embers And Revelations' will be the apex of malice via music."

WEAPON has confirmed a three-week tour with black metal legends MARDUK and 1349, with additional support from WITHERED. The trek begins this Saturday, June 2 in Baltimore, Maryland and ends on June 20 in San Diego, California. Immediately following these dates, WEAPON will headline a string of shows with support from WITHERED, HOD, NIGHTBRINGER and BLASPHERIAN on select dates.
