March 1, 2007

Boston's thrash pioneers WARGASM have posted the song "Suicide Squad" from their 1985 demo tape, which was recorded when the band was still known as MANIAC. Check it out on the group's MySpace page. Also available at the same location is a video for the WARGASM track "Slow Burn/Blood Flood".

WARGASM's upcoming DVD will contain footage recorded at the band's special reunion show on Sept. 18, 2004 at the Middle East Club in Cambridge, MA. The DVD will also feature a documentary about the band, complete with vintage live material and other candid footage of the band.

WARGASM split up in 1995 after issuing their third full-length album, "Suicide Notes", through the Transmission label.
