WAR & PEACE: JEFF PILSON Comments On Live Album Recording

October 7, 2004

WAR & PEACE mainman Jeff Pilson (ex-DOKKEN/DIO) has commented on the recording of the band's upcoming live album, which took place on September 19 at the Z Rock 04 bash at the world-famous Cavern club in Liverpool, England.

Said Pilson: "The live recording in Liverpool went extremely well, and I have no doubt that the live record will be nothing short of magical. I'm so fortunate to have such a strong and talented band. And the fact that I consider them dear friends makes the experience much more like family than anything else. At this point in one's career, these are important criteria, and I feel so very lucky that I get to share all this."

As previously reported, the band's performance was an "amazing" trip through Pilson's remarkable career and included the following set list:

01. What Cost War
02. City in Flames
03. Beast in the Box
04. Don't Close Your Eyes
05. Burnin Like a Flame
06. Heaven Sent
07. Zero The End
08. The Shell
09. Desperate Hearts
10. Line in the Sand
11. Finale
12. Breath and a Scream
13. Snake Eyes
14. Tooth and Nail
15. It's Not Love
Encore:
16. Just Got Lucky
17. Into The Fire

It is hoped that the live recording will be released during late January 2005 via Z Records.
