February 1, 2004

W.A.S.P. have announced six confirmed dates in the U.K. as part of their 2004 "Neon God" European tour. They are as follows:

May 04 – Glasgow, UK @ Garage
May 05 – Manchester, UK @ MDH
May 06 – Bradford, UK @ Rio's
May 07 – Wolverhampton, UK @ Wulfrun Hall
May 08 – Nottingham, UK @ Rock City
May 09 – London, UK @ Astoria

W.A.S.P.'s long-awaited new album, "Neon God", was recorded at frontman/composer Blackie Lawless's Fort Apache Studios in Malibu, CA, and co-helmed by renowned producer Bill Metoyer. Slated for release in two parts, "Neon God" reportedly features a concept that is "extremely complex and detailed," containing a plotline that expresses notions of lost innocence and the black undercurrent of mass media.

The band's lineup for the new albums remains Blackie Lawless on vocals and guitar, Frankie Banali on drums, Mike Duda on bass, and Darrell Roberts on lead guitar. This outing will also feature major orchestration as enhancement & depth to the subject matter.
