VULTURE INDUSTRIES: Tour Diary Available

March 9, 2008

Industrial metallers VULTURE INDUSTRIES, the band fronted by producer Bjørnar Nilsen and including a plethora of musicians from the Norwegian scene, with current and former members of BLACK HOLE GENERATOR, SULPHUR, ENSLAVED, DEATHCON, SYRACH, MALICE IN WONDERLAND and TAAKE within its ranks, are in the throes of their first European tour with Dark Essence labelmates HELHEIM, and German black metallers DARK FORTRESS. The group will take advantage of the tour to showcase its recently released, first full-length album, "The Dystopia Journals".

VULTURE INDUSTRIES plans to check in daily with a "tour diary" on the band's MySpace page, which will include photos — laptops and Internet cafés permitting, of course! Nilsen says of the first show in Germany, "For such a small town, the turnout was great, with 200 people turning up to fill the venue. I have to admit that the locals seemed rather sceptical about us at first, but after a couple of songs, things really started to loosen up and the evening turned out great”.

According to Nilsen, the three bands are getting on well together: “The atmosphere throughout the evening and for the tour so far has been really good. Both HELHEIM and DARK FORTRESS delivered great shows, and we couldn’t be happier with the guys we are touring with.”

The "tour diary" and tracks from "The Dystopia Journals" can be found at this location.
