VOIVOD's PIGGY: Funeral Services Scheduled

A viewing for late VOIVOD guitarist Denis "Piggy" D'Amour will be held at the following location/times:

Tuesday, August 30: 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Wednesday, August 31: 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Thursday, September 1: 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

The funeral will take place on Thursday, September 1 beginning at 11:45 a.m.

As previously reported, D'Amour died late Friday (Aug. 26) in a Montreal hospital from complications of advanced colon cancer. The 45-year-old guitarist had been diagnosed this summer and that the disease had spread to his liver, rendering the condition inoperable. On Thursday, D'Amour slipped into a coma and never regained consciousness. He was surrounded by family and friends at the time of his death.
