VINTERSORG To Headline Germany's DONG OPEN AIR Festival

VINTERSORG, the Swedish band led by BORKNAGAR frontman Andreas Hedlund (a.k.a. Vintersorg), have been confirmed as one of the headliners of the 2004 edition of Dong Open Air, set to take place July 16-17 in Neukirchen-Vluyn, near Krefeld, Germany. VINTERSORG will top the bill on Saturday, July 17 while SUIDAKRA and MY DARKEST HATE will be the co-headliners on Friday. Also set to appear are the Taiwanese band SERAPHIM.

As previously reported, VINTERSORG's new album, "The Focusing Blur", is due on February 16, 2004 through Napalm Records. A four-minute 35-second MP3 file containing soundclips of five tracks that will appear on the album can be downloaded here.
