VINCE NEIL Son's MÖTLEY CRÜE Tribute Band To Hit The Road

April 28, 2005

Neil Wharton (MySpace.com profile),son of MÖTLEY CRÜE singer Vince Neil, performed with his CRÜE tribute band ROCK & ROLL JUNKIES on April 22 at Club Paladinos in Reseda, California.

Wharton and crew played through a set of '80s MÖTLEY CRÜE songs, putting heavy emphasis on the "Too Fast for Love"- and "Shout At the Devil"-era material.

ROCK & ROLL JUNKIES' goal is "to bring the show back to what it was like in the club days when the CRÜE were young and dangerous," according to a press release. "The tribute band is done out of respect of the bands connection through Vince Neil and the love of MÖTLEY CRÜE's music."

ROCK & ROLL JUNKIES warmed up the crowd for the evening's main attraction, the all-female tribute band THE IRON MAIDENS.

ROCK & ROLL JUNKIES will be playing several more gigs in California over the next two months and before taking the show on the road for the summer.
