May 26, 2013

Italian singer Mariangela "Mary" Demurtas of Norway's TRISTANIA and Italian guitarist Francesco Marras' (SCREAMING SHADOWS) have released a video for their acoustic cover version of THE MARS VOLTA song "The Widow". Check it out below. The clip was produced by Luigi Marras and Francesco Marras.

Says Demurtas about the video: "THE MARS VOLTA is one of my favorite bands. Since me and Francesco are getting ready to play some acoustic set soon in Sardinia, here you have the chance to see what it is about."

Demurtas joined TRISTANIA in 2007 and is featured on the band's sixth album, "Rubicon", which came out in August 2010 via Austria's Napalm Records. The group's follow-up CD, "Darkest White", is scheduled for release on May 31 via Napalm.

Francesco's first solo instrumental album, "Black Sheep", is available on iTunes and AmazonMP3.
