Rob Halford (JUDAS PRIEST), Ace Frehley (KISS), Slash (GUNS N' ROSES) and David Ellefson (MEGADETH) are among the musicians who performed at Alice Cooper's 16th annual "Christmas Pudding" show to benefit the legendary rocker's Solid Rock Teen Center. Also appearing at the event, which was held on Saturday (December 9) at the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona, were PRIEST guitarist Richie Faulkner, COOPER guitarist Nita Strauss, Edgar Winter, FILTER, SIXWIRE, GARY MULE DEER, the Solid Rock Dancers and the winners of this year's "Proof Is In The Pudding" talent contest.

The Solid Rock Teen Center is a facility in Phoenix co-founded by Alice that provides free music lessons to local young people.

"Proof Is In The Pudding" was previously described as Cooper's own "American Idol"-inspired talent search whichs give one lucky young solo artist and one band a chance to open the "Christmas Pudding" event. The grand prize winners also received a $1,000 cash prize.

In previous years, up to 300 musicians age 25 and younger have taken part in the "Proof Is In The Pudding" competition.
