Video: MESHUGGAH Drummer Demonstrates New SABIAN Cymbal Designs Up For 2013's 'Cymbal Vote'

October 17, 2012

Cymbal Vote allows drummers from around the world to determine what new models Sabian will introduce in 2013.

Sabian has long been know for its innovation in cymbals, and each year the company develops more cool new ideas than it can introduce as new products in a single year. So it decided to let the musicians and fans decide!

At CymbalVote.com you can see the 12 cymbal candidates and dozens of videos featuring great drummers like Tomas Haake (MESHUGGAH). These clips give you the chance to hear the cymbals in several musical settings and even hear the player's comments on how each performs.

The votes from drummers from around the world will decide which four cymbals become the new models for 2013 and get to wear the Cymbal Vote crown. Voting is open September 1 through October 31, 2012. The winners will be announced at the NAMM show in January and available in local retail stores soon after that. You can vote for your four favorite cymbals once a day, everyday, while voting is open. You can also register to win some great prizes and each additional vote is another entry, increasing your odds of winning.

The aforementioned video clips featuring Tomas Haake can be seen below.
