February 17, 2015

THE MCBRAINIACS, the band featuring IRON MAIDEN drummer Nicko McBrain, performed in front of about 30 people this past Saturday, February 14 at The Downs Golf Practice Facility in Tampa, Florida as part of the fifth annual Golfest Presented By Valspar Championship weekend celebration. Check out fan-filmed video footage below.

"Our annual Golfest Presented By Valspar Championship weekend is a sign that spring is right around the corner, and with it the chance to enjoy the sport both here and at many of the outstanding courses in the area," said The Downs Golf Practice facility manager Jon Johnson.

Golfest Presented By Valspar Championship is the Tampa Bay area's largest golf expo and demo day. Golfers have the opportunity to "try and buy" the latest products from numerous well-known club, shaft and ball companies, and participate in The Downs Golf Practice Facility's rewards program.

IRON MAIDEN is believed to be putting the finishing touches on its new studio album with longtime producer Kevin Shirley for a 2015 release.

MAIDEN's 15th CD, "The Final Frontier", sold 63,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to enter The Billboard 200 chart at position No. 4.
