VICIOUS RUMORS Guitarist In Physical Therapy

VICIOUS RUMORS guitarist/band leader Geoff Thorpe is now in physical therapy and showing definite signs of improvement after undergoing back surgery earlier in the year. At this point, Thorpe's plans are to return to the band by the end of 2004. "Geoff and the band were deeply disappointed that they were unable to tour in 2004 and are planning a BIG year in 2005," reads a posting on the group's web site.

"Furthermore, while Geoff is making progress in his therapy his doctors have advised that he focuses on the training program that he is going through and as such, Geoff will have to pass on the opportunity to provide solos for KALEDON's upcoming release," the posting adds. "Geoff is deeply disappointed not to be able to participate in this venture and offer KALEDON's and friends his very best wishes for things to come.

"Geoff also sends a huge 'Thanks!' to all the people who have supported him through this difficult time. Stay tuned metalheads...the VICIOUS RUMORS ball will crush the world in 2005 with more power & more hunger... Geoff & the band are coming back with a vengence!!!
