VICIOUS ART Schedules Danish Live Debut

VICIOUS ART — the Swedish death/thrash metal band featuring former DARK FUNERAL members Matias Mäkelä and Robert Lundin, along with Jörgen Sandström (THE PROJECT HATE, ex-ENTOMBED, GRAVE) on bass — will make its Danish live debut on February 15, 2008 at The Rock in Copenhagen. Also scheduled to appear is THORIUM.

VICIOUS ART is in the middle of a short Swedish/Norwegian tour as the support act for DEATH BREATH (the Swedish old-school death metal project featuring former ENTOMBED drummer and main songwriter Nicke Andersson [currently the frontman of rock 'n' roll band THE HELLACOPTERS]). Remaining dates are as follows:

Nov. 03 - Västerås, Sweden - Sigursgatan 25
Nov. 04 - Stockholm, Sweden - Debaser Slussen
Nov. 09 - Stockholm, Sweden – Tantogarden

VICIOUS ART's appearance at the Linköping Metal Massacre, which was scheduled to take place November 2, has been cancelled. According to the group, the festival organizers "had to cancel the second stage and all the bands that were scheduled to play that stage. There is nothing we can do about it really, it is just a damn shame... We could have crushed you, you know. Just like we did with Karlstad and Oslo this weekend!!!"

Due in Scandinavia on November 5 (early 2008 elsewhere),"Pick Up This Sick Child" was recorded at Offbeat studios in Jakobsberg, Sweden and was mastered in Denmark by Jacob Hansen. The album artwork was created by Kristian Karlberg.

VICIOUS ART's debut album, "Fire Falls and the Waiting Waters", was released in October 2004 through Threeman Recordings in Europe (Candlelight Records in the U.S.).
