VERTIGO STEPS: First Guest Musicians For Sophomore Album Revealed
Jules Näveri (PROFANE OMEN, INSOMNIUM, ENEMY OF THE SUN), Stein R Sordal (SORDAL, GREEN CARNATION) and Sophie (UNDERSTREAM) will make guest appearances on the sophomore album from the Portuguese metal act VERTIGO STEPS — the ambitious offspring of Bruno A (ARCANE WISDOM, UNDERSTREAM, REDSTAINS). Entitled "The Melancholy Hour", the CD will see Näveri (a former bandmate of VERTIGO STEPS lead singer Niko Mankinen in MISERY INC.) contributing his trademark growling and heartfelt singing to two tracks ("Desperation Lair", "Silentground"), while Sordal will appear on one song ("Through Sham Lenses") and Sophie will continue to perform sporadic female expressionisms, between experimental, haunting and operatic.
"The Melancholy Hour" will be recorded at UltraSound Studios beginning on April 15 and feature 12 tracks with a total running time of approximately 55 minutes.
"The Melancholy Hour" track listing:
01. The Spider & The Weaving
