VELVET REVOLVER, L.A. GUNS, SCARS ON BROADWAY Members Join Forces In CARNIVAL OF DOGS

Former GUNS N' ROSES and current VELVET REVOLVER drummer Matt Sorum has joined forces with guitarist Tracii Guns (L.A. GUNS),bassist Phil Soussan (OZZY OSBORNE, BILLY IDOL, VINCE NEIL) and vocalist Franky Perez (SCARS ON BROADWAY, CAMP FREDDY) in a brand new "ultimate all-star party band" called CARNIVAL OF DOGS. The group made its live debut at the "Giving 2010" benefit event on May 3, 2010 at The Troubadour in Hollywood, California and had so much [fun that we] are going to do some gigs," says Sorum, who calls Perez "the most amazing rock singer." Matt adds, "I am loving playin', man, and these guys play the stuff I grew up with — [LED] ZEPPELIN, [JIMI] HENDRIX, CREAM, FREE, BAD COMPANY, [BLACK] SABBATH, etc. So look out for us."

CARNIVAL OF DOGS is described as a "'70s rock cover band" that "will have you swinging from the rafters and singing along to every song."
