VELVET REVOLVER Concert To Air On SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO

August 11, 2004

Sirius Satellite Radio has joined forces with VELVET REVOLVER to bring Sirius subscribers an exclusive concert broadcast and backstage interviews with the entire band.

Scott Greenstein, Sirius President of Entertainment and Sports, said, "VELVET REVOLVER represents the most unique and commanding rock and roll in years, and delivers on Sirius' promise to its subscribers: the best of all genres of music, and the most original programming anywhere. This is VELVET REVOLVER's first live radio concert, and Sirius is the only place you can hear it. For that, we thank the band for their courageous support of our vision. We're thrilled to be behind VELVET REVOLVER as a band and as part of our undying commitment to rock and roll."

"Velvet Revolver Live and Loaded" will air exclusively on Sirius on Sunday, August 22 starting at 7 p.m. ET on commercial-free music channel Octane / 20. The show will be rebroadcast at 10 p.m. ET. The interviews and live concert performance were digitally recorded at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles.

VELVET REVOLVER's album, "Contraband", debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 chart, the best-ever debut for a rock artist in the Soundscan era. The album was recently certified platinum for sales of more than one million copies.
