VARGA To Release 'Enter The Metal' Next Month

September 7, 2013

Hamilton, Ontario, Canada-based progressive metal masters VARGA, who reunited in 2011, have been hard at work in the studio with longtime friend and producer/engineer Julius "Juice" Butty (ALEXISONFIRE, PROTEST THE HERO) completing their long-awaited "Enter The Metal" and "Return Of The Metal" CDs. VARGA bassist/lead vocalist Joe Varga states: "In both collections of music, you'll hear a return to our metal and progressive roots with songs laden with heavy licks, crazy time changes and insane vocals."

"Enter The Metal" is slated for release on October 30 and will be available on the band's web site as well as through Amazon.com and iTunes.

A new VARGA song, "Gamera", is available for streaming and download using the SoundCloud widget below.

VARGA released two albums in the '90s — "Prototype" (1994) and "Oxygen" (1996) — before caling it quits. Drummer Dan Fila and guitarist Sean Williamson went on to form the short-lived HYPODUST.
