VANMAKT: Swedish Dates Postponed

October 28, 2007

Mainman Gorgoth of the Swedish black metal band VANMAKT has issued the following update:

"Due to that Gráal had major surgery this week and that his doctor told him to rest, we have to postpone our gigs in Västervik, Falun and Sundsvall in the end of November. We will try to re-schedule the dates to the spring of 2008, but as of right now we will not play any gigs, at least not this year. Gráal needs his rest and he will get it. But as soon as he is fit to go we will start rehearsing the new songs that we haven't recorded so that we stand ready if and when we will enter the studio for a second album.

"In other news I will record the vocals on the promo next week. Everything sounds killer, and we have finally got a sound that we like. Björn is a hell of a soundman!"

VANMAKT's debut album, "Vredskapta Mörkersagor", features guest appearances by Jonas Renvaktar (SPAWN OF POSSESSION) on the song entitled "Open the Gates" and Hebbe from SKALD on the track "En Mardröm, En Strid, Ett Helvete". VANMAKT also filmed a video for the song "My Darkest Hate", which can be viewed below.
