VAN HALEN Bassist Joins SAMMY HAGAR For Surprise Pre-Tour Shows

VAN HALEN bassist Michael Anthony's official web site has been updated with the following message:

"Michael hopped a plane to Cabo San Lucas uannounced earlier this week to join Sammy Hagar at the Cabo Wabo for a couple of pre-tour shows!

"On Thursday, April 27th, Mike, Sammy and the Cabo Wabo house drummer took to the Cabo Wabo stage to jam and do a little partying as they ripped through a cavalcade of cover tunes including 'Bad Motor Scooter' (MONTROSE),'Crossroads' (CREAM) and 'Whole Lotta Love' (LED ZEPPELIN).

"Friday, THE OTHER HALF debuted at a private show just for Cabo Wabo Cruise participants. Opening with the infamous drone of low E bass notes from 'Runnin' With the Devil', the group tore through a spirited set that began with that VH classic and included 'Top of the World', 'Best of Both Worlds', 'Right Now' and 'Poundcake'.
