VADER To Embark On South American Tour

November 8, 2002

Polish death metallers VADER will embark on a seven-date South American tour during December.

Confirmed shows are as follows:

Dec. 13 – Florianópolis, BRA @ TBA
Dec. 14 - Sao Paulo, BRA @ TBA
Dec. 15 - Rio de Janeiro, BRA @ TBA
Dec. 17 – Bogotá, COL @ TBA
Dec. 20 - Brasília, BRA @ TBA
Dec. 21 - Recife, BRA @ TBA
Dec. 22 - Belém, BRA @ TBA

According to the band's official web site, "the promoter finally has decided to cancel the shows in Chile and Venezuela for the sake of safety. Bogota is also a very dangerous place to play there, although a Colombian promoter has confirmed the show, they will make a final decision during Brazilian days. At the present Colombia has very hard economic and political situation and also a serious danger of terrorists attacks still exists there. Nevertheless all shows in Brazil are confirmed and the promotional campaign will start tomorrow. On the tour VADER will be supported by NEPHAST and some local acts. Tumba Records is going to release limited to 250 copies special t-shirts and record some shows on the band's forthcoming live MCD. VADER will fly to Brasil directly from Florida, 11th of December. The band will return to Poland (via New York and Zurich) only 25th of December."
