VADER Preparing For 'XXV Anniversary Tour 2008'

Veteran Polish death metallers VADER have issued the following update:

"In 2008 VADER will celebrate their XXV anniversary. To add more splendor to it, the main Polish death metal force will appear on their headlining 'XXV Anniversary Tour 2008'.

"It's going to be a very special tour! Exclusively for that occasion the band will prepare a very special live set featuring many surprises and songs which were never presented live!

"Special guests of the tour will be SEPTIC FLESH from Greece, Swedish DEVIAN and INACTIVE MESSIAH, also from Greece.

"The tour will contain 45 shows in almost all European countries (except for Scandinavia and the Baltic States). The tour through Scandinavia is planned for autumn 2008.

"In the middle of March, VADER kick off their another tournee through South America. The band will start the tour with a few shows in Mexico (those dates haven't been confirmed yet). After that united forces of VADER and MARDUK will invade such countries as Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Peru, Columbia and Venezuela, playing 11 already confirmed battles.

"Just before the South American tournee the band will appear on Polish Metalmania Festival 2008 (Katowice, Spodek Hall),sharing the stage with such great acts as MEGADETH, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, OVERKILL, ARTILLERY and more."

VADER released its new DVD, "And Blood Was Shed In Warsaw", in Europe on October 15 via Metal Mind Productions. The group's third DVD, which is being made available in North America today (November 20) via MVD, features footage from the band's February 12, 2007 concert at Stodola Club in Warsaw, documenting the final stop of the group's tour in support of their latest album, "Impressions in Blood". The show was filmed with seven cameras and includes a guest appearance by Orion, a member of two other great Polish metal acts: VESANIA and BEHEMOTH. The DVD also includes: a fully animated menu, band bio, discography, interview with frontman Peter, the brand new video clip "Sword of the Witcher" (taken from the forthcoming RPG game "The Witcher"),desktop images, photo gallery, weblinks, and Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound. "…And Blood Was Shed In Warsaw" DVD is also available in a special DVD+CD limited swing case edition! The artwork and layout of the DVD was created by the Brazilian artist Marcelo HVC, who has previously worked with GORGOROTH, LORD BELIAL and NECROPHAGIA.
