USURPER Pulls Out Of Toronto's DAY OF THE EQUINOX II; MISERY INDEX And NEURAXIS Step In

Chicago-based USURPER has been forced to cancel its appearance at the Day Of The Equinox Festival, set to take place Saturday, September 23 at The Opera House in Toronto, Ontario.

Details on USURPER's withdrawal are sparse except it has been noted one guitar player has been forced to undergo immediate surgery on his wrist, The recovery process is expected to last into 2007, thereby putting USURPER on a short-term hiatus.

According to a press release, "In 14 years as a band, this is only the second show USURPER has ever had to cancel. The band is greatly disappointed they are no longer available to perform at this exclusive gig, but vows to return and make it up to their fans once the healing process has completed." MISERY INDEX and NEURAXIS have been chosen to fill the vacant slot for Day Of The Equinox II.
