UNIVERSITY OF LIFE Names Vocalist

March 2, 2009

UNIVERSITY OF LIFE, the group which features ATTACKER drummer Mike Sabatini and bassist Lou Ciarlo, has tapped John Crespo as the vocalist for its upcoming debut album.

Crespo hails from central New Jersey and "has a great rock 'n' roll voice that will mesh perfectly with the music we have crafted," the band says in a statement.

Drum and rhythm guitar tracking were recently completed at the band's studio (Dead City Recording) in Hoboken, New Jersey. Bass guitar tracking will begin this week, followed by guitar solo work and finally vocals. The recording should be completed within the next few months and released in both stereo and 5.1 Surround Sound versions later this year.
