UNEARTH: New Video Interview With TREVOR PHIPPS

Alvashredd of Capital Chaos TV conducted an interview with vocalist Trevor Phipps of Massachusetts metallers UNEARTH on January 20 at the Oakland Metro Operahouse in Oakland, California. You can now watch the chat below.

UNEARTH began 2013 in a big way on tour alongside WHITECHAPEL and EMMURE. The "Brothers Of Brutality Tour" kicked off on January 8 in Knoxville, Tennessee and will wrap up February 11 in New York City.

UNEARTH bassist John "Slo" Maggard is sitting out the "Brothers Of Brutality Tour" in order to "take care of personal matters at home." He is being temporarily replaced by Matt DeVries (FEAR FACTORY, ex-CHIMAIRA).

UNEARTH's latest album, "Darkness In The Light", sold 6,400 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 72 on The Billboard 200 chart. The band's previous CD, "The March", opened with around 11,000 units back in October 2008 to land at No. 45.

"Darkness In The Light" was recorded at Zing Studios in Westfield, Massachusetts with producer (and KILLSWITCH ENGAGE guitarist) Adam Dutkiewicz. The effort was mixed by Mark Lewis (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, WHITECHAPEL, DEVILDRIVER, TRIVIUM) from Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, Florida.
