UNBURIED Changes Name To INCINERATION

May 28, 2007

St. Louis, Missouri-based extreme metal band UNBURIED has issued the following update:

"After 3 1/2 years and about 6 demos/EPs, we have decided to change the name of UNBURIED to INCINERATION. It's for alot of reasons including the obvious, but we are really a new band now with a different, more mature or technical approach to music than UNBURIED was meant for.

"Our debut EP, 'Reduced to Ash', should drop around the Fourth of July. It was produced by Geoff Sprock, who recently worked with MISERY INDEX, and it sounds so fucking killer I [guitarist/vocalist Dreathus Harris] drool every time I hear it! We have distribution set up for the EP through Open Grave Records, BlackMetal.com, and St. Louis' own Chunks Of Meat Records.

"Check us out on tour across the east coast from August 17th to September 1st."
