UFO/WAYSTED bassist Pete Way is in the process of recording his new project, DAMAGE CONTROL, which also features Robin George. Two audio tracks are available at Pete's official web site, www.peteway.net. The tracks contain excerpts from various songs the band is working on.As previously reported, SPV has set a November 8 U.S. release date for the live UFO CD and DVD, "Showtime", which was recorded at Pumpwerk in Wilhelmshaven, Germany on May 13, 2005. The set will arrive in Europe on November 14, except in Germany, where it will surface on November 11. More information is available at this location. Another UFO DVD, entitled "Too Hot to Handle", will be released on December 6 via Music Video Distributors. The 90-minute DVD gathers rare footage during the Michael Schenker era along with more recent live footage and interviews with the band and others. Bandmembers chronicle their rise to fame and how the dynamic in the band has changed over the years with the definitive story of the band being told.
