UFO Announces Initial Batch Of 2011 North American Tour Dates

The initial dates for UFO's 2011 North American tour have just been revealed. The band will be touring in support of its upcoming studio album, which is slated to be released in June 2011 via SPV/Steamhammer. The East Coast leg of the tour will kick off May 11, 2011 at Bourbon Street in Baltimore, Maryland.

Confirmed dates so far:

May 11 - Baltimore, MD @ Bourbon Street
May 13 - New York, NY @ BB Kings
May 14 - Foxboro, MA (Boston) @ The Showcase Live
May 20 - Chicago, IL @ The Arcada Theater
May 21 - Chicago, IL @ The Aracada Theater

Expect more dates for the East Coast leg of the tour to be announced in the coming days and an announcement will be coming soon about the West Coast leg of the tour, slated to kick off in September.

UFO's latest best-of collection, "Best Of A Decade", was released in North America on September 28 via SPV/Steamhammer.

The band's most recent studio album, "The Visitor", came out in June 2009.

The current lineup continues to consist of the three original members, Phil Mogg (vocals),Paul Raymond (guitar, keyboards),and Andy Parker (drums),as well as American world-class guitarist Vinnie Moore.
