TYPE O NEGATIVE's STEELE: New Album Will Be A Cross Between THE BEATLES And BLACK SABBATH
TYPE O NEGATIVE bassist/vocalist Peter Steele recently described the group's upcoming album, "The Dream Is Dead", as a combination of THE BEATLES and BLACK SABBATH...with a twist. "My goal for this next album was it to have it sound like THE BEATLES on acid, BLACK SABBATH drunk out of their minds...playing in a haunted factory."
"The Dream Is Dead", which is currently being at Brooklyn, New York's Systems 2 studios under the watchful eye of keyboardist Josh Silver, is about 95 percent done, according to Steele. An April release through Roadrunner Records is expected.
