TYGERS OF PAN TANG: Upcoming Festival Appearances To Focus On 'Wildcat', 'Spellbound' Material

November 29, 2008

NWOBHM legends TYGERS OF PAN TANG have issued the following update:

"We are delighted to announce confirmation that the TYGERS will be playing at two of Europe's best underground festivals: Heavy Metal Maniacs in Hoorn, Holland on October 24, 2009 and Keep it True in Konigshofen, Germany in April 2010. Both festivals are renowned for an appreciation of older-school rock and seem the perfect opportunity to play some songs from both 'Wildcat' and 'Spellbound', celebrating 30 years since release. We hope to confirm more festival appearances soon and will announce these on the MySpace and websites as soon as possible."

TYGERS' new album, "Animal Instinct", was released in Italy, Germany and Scandinavia on June 9, and was made available and in Japan in mid-July via Marquee/Avalon. The CD is also available in the UK and via the band's official web site.

According to a press release, "Animal Instinct", sees the band "go back to their early roots, playing hard-edged rock in the manner of 'Wildcat' and 'Spellbound'."

TYGERS OF PAN TANG's current lineup is:

Robb Weir - Guitar
Dean Robertson - Guitar
Jacopo Meille - Vocals
Brian West - Bass
Craig Ellis - Drums
