TYGERS OF PAN TANG: Live Dates Announced

NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) legends TYGERS OF PAN TANG have lined up the following dates during the coming months:

Apr. 02 - Nijmegen, NETH @ Backstage
Apr. 03 - Gramsbergen, NETH @ Big Al
Apr. 04 - Heerenveen, NETH @The Sphinx
Apr. 16 – Godmanchester, UK @ Britten Arena
Jul. 10/11 - w/ DEEP PURPLE, STATUS QUO in Holland
Oct. 16 - Lauwe, BEL @ Zaal Astoria

TYGERS OF PAN TANG's most recent studio album, "Noises From The Cat House", was released last year through Communiqué Records. It was mixed by the band's longtime producer, Chris Tsangarides, famed for his production work with, among others, JUDAS PRIEST and YNGWIE MALMSTEEN.

The current lineup of TYGERS OF PAN TANGRobb Weir (guitar),Richie Wicks (vocals, ex-ANGEL WITCH),Craig Ellis (drums),Dean Robertson (guitar) and Brian West (bass) — has been performing since 2002 around Europe, which also spawned the recent live album and DVD, "Live in the Roar" and "Visions from the Cat House". 2004 sees the band embarking on a large European tour, and discussions are in place regarding the band visiting the U.S. and Japan.

Robb Weir formed the TYGERS back in 1977 when he was joined by Brian Dick, Rocky and Jess Cox. A very successful career followed, which also jumpstarted the careers of some of the bands members (including singer Jon Deverill, and guitarist John Sykes, who went on to play with THIN LIZZY and WHITESNAKE).
