In addition to promoting their latest album, "Threshold of Revelation", Chicago-based power metallers TWELFTH GATE are busy writing new material for their next full-length release. The band, who recently replaced vocalist Scott Huffman with Brent "Red" Erickson, are "continuing their progression towards heavier and more intriguing songs while also further defining their own style and sound," according to a press release. TWELFTH GATE have also booked studio dates to re-record the vocals for a few select TG songs and to lay down two brand new songs for a limited-edition EP, which may also contain one or two extra treats. The EP, which is yet untitled, is targeted for release later this year.
